The Damai story….
Coming from very different backgrounds, the founders of Damai a Spanish/ Dutch couple, Cristina & IJsbrand, decided one day to change their lives completely. Being a lawyer and a economist in Holland they left their jobs behind and followed their dreams and started their adventure in the South of Spain.
Traveling, discover the beauty of this world and explore many different cultures has always been a priority in their lives. On one of their trips to Indonesia, everything began. The brand Damai was created and started with a small collection of jewelry, and quickly developed into a great colorful concept of ethnic leather bags, beautiful resort garments and exclusive Soul jewelry: this all reflects a mixture of Dutch – Spanish way of thinking, daring style with the right dose of marketing, combined with the most artistic and traditional Indonesian Craftsmanship.
