Our website gives you several ways you can search for a product until you find exactly what you’re looking for.
The best and most easy way to shop with Damai is to browse through the menu categories at the top of the webpage and then refine what you are looking for by clicking on each section.
Alternatively, if you know exactly what you want, just type in the product into our search facility [top right of the Website] and we will find you everything related to your specific search. Once you have found what you want, click ‘add to shopping cart’, and when you’re done shopping, follow the on screen instructions to fill in your payment and delivery details. It is as easy as it looks!!

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO SHOP WITH YOU?

A very simple and direct answer = yes!
Setup an account will allow you to order without having to fill in your details every time you shop with us, it will give you benefits such as order tracking, regular newsletters, and amazing discounts and exclusive special offers.
You can sign up right now, or you can start shopping straight away and set your account up when you check out, whichever suits you best.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

We like to give you plenty of payment options, so you can use any of the cards listed below. We also give you the option to pay with paypal, TPV Virtual or a direct bank transfer.

All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation and authorisation by both us and the card issuer, to maintain security and prevent fraud.
Likewise, you will be able to pay your order by cash on delivery.

WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?

If your card is authorised, payment will be taken immediately, and you will receive an email confirming that your order has been successful received.
If your card is not authorised, payment will not be taken, and we’ll email to let you know why your bank or card issuer wouldn’t authorise the payment.

HOW DO I CHANGE DETAILS ON MY ACCOUNT?

Once you have signed up, you’ll be able to log into My Account anytime you want. This is where you go if you want to change your password, email address and delivery info.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER UNDER THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS?

Unfortunately, we cannot modify your order once it has been delivered; this including a change in the size/color of a product, removing a product, changing the shipping address or the payment method.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (from the day after you receive your goods) to cancel the contract for your order with us.
In this case we will issue you with a full refund however you will need to return the entire order at your cost if you have already received them.
In all cases, the goods must be in their original condition and will be inspected on their return.
If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we may arrange to have them collected at your cost.
If you decide to cancel your order with Damai World, you must let us know our customer care department in writing, quoting the order number at info@damaiworld.com.

IS MY ORDER ON ITS WAY TO ME?

You’ll receive a despatch confirmation email from our warehouse once your order is on its way.

Please send us an email (info@damaiworld.com). We will reply as soon as possible and our priority will be to solve the problem.

I HAVE RECEIVED AN INCORRECT OR FAULTY ITEM

We want to sort out any issues with incorrect or faulty items straightaway.
As soon as you discover a fault, please contact our Customer Care team at info@damaiworld.com with the order number, the faulty item’s name and number, and a description of the fault.
We’ll get back to you as son as possible in order to sort out the problem.

DELIVERY

Deliveries to peninsular territory will take place in a maximum term of 7 business days. Note that delivery times for Balearic Islands could take approximately 5 days more than the rest of the peninsular territory and that the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla have special regimes.
The cost of delivery to the peninsular territory charged with a flat rate and your order will be sent through our private transportation agency NACEX in most cases. Your order could be delivered at any time between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday (excluding public and bank holidays).

Please find below the shipping costs for the rest of countries:
• Spain (Mainland) flat rate • Spain (Balearic Islands) 10 € • Spain (Canary Islands) 18 € + DUA • Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Holland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Switzerland. 25 € • Bulgaria, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latonya, Lithuania, Norway, Slovak Republic, Rumania y Sweden. 33€

If you are not at the address indicated to receive the order, the transportation agency will try to deliver it to you on the following business day. If in both the first and the second try you are not at the address indicated our transportation agency will Schedule a new delivery date providing two options:
1) New delivery date and address.2) Picking up the package at the offices of our transportation agency.
Unfortunately, we cannot make deliveries on holidays. In this case, please wait for your order the next business day.

SHIPPING TO THE CANARY ISLANDS, CEUTA AND MELILLA

For orders shipped to these communities located outside the peninsular territory, it is important to consider the following shipment conditions:
Delivery times are larger than usual, setting a minimum of 7 days.
Note that the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are not part of the EU customs territory, so that shipments are subject to taxes and/or tariffs. In most cases, the rates charged at the time of delivery of the package, although you may receive a mail or email notification asking you to go personally to pay the fee to receive your package.
The amount of fees varies depending on package weight. For more information, we recommend that you contact your local Post Office.

WILL I BE CHARGED CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES?

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel (this also applies to retail & wholesale customers).
Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.
It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

NON-EU VAT

VAT is not included in our prices for customers outside of Spain and of the EU.

DO YOU DELIVER TO WORK ADDRESSES?

We can deliver to your permanent residential address or your place of employment. If you want your delivery to reach you at work, you need to be confident that someone will be there to take receipt of the goods, as the courier will deliver to the place not the person.

OUR RETURNS POLICY

As we explain in our website our bags are handmade and unique because of used fabrics. Not one bag is the same and small defects are part of our ethnic concept, like small wear and tear in fabric or even missing mirror in Indian ethnic fabrics. Only when a bag is clearly damaged we can make a return policy.

For returns made outside the Distance Selling Regulations, we will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them.
In all cases, the items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. For example, bags should be received by us with protection cover and tags. All goods will be inspected on return.
The goods are your responsibility until they reach our Warehouse. Please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the items or boxes. We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us in error.
We recommend you use a postal service that insures you for the value of the goods you are returning or obtain proof of posting.

HOW CAN I RETURN AN ORDER?

Note that it is very important that when you return an item, we know the order number and your data.

Waiting time and reimbursement:
In this process, it may elapse 14 working days until your order arrives at its final destination, but as soon as we receive, inspect and process the goods within 24 hours to ensure you receive your refund as soon as possible and we will send email notification to confirm.

Any refund will be issued automatically to the card used to make the original purchase and the timeframe for which the charge appears on the card is between 5 and 10 days after confirming the refund.

We will usually refund you what you paid for the goods but not the delivery charge except in cases where the order was cancelled under the Distance Selling Regulations or the order was faulty.

I HAVE BEEN REFUNDED THE INCORRECT AMOUNT

The following may affect the amount you have been refunded:??The delivery charge, which would only be refunded under cancelled orders made under Distance Selling Regulations or if the goods are faulty.

HAVE YOU RECEIVED MY RETURNED GOODS?

As soon as our warehouse has processed your return, we’ll email you to let you know.
In the unlikely event that you don’t receive this email within 14 business days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team and we’ll get back to you.
If you have returned your parcel using Recorded Delivery or another service that can be tracked, please give us the reference number when you contact us.
